"Picnik, Picnik, having fun..."

So the amazing Jason has introduced me to Picnik, a website that lets you upload and edit your photos for free, then either download them back to your computer or publish them on Flickr or what have you.

I *HEART* Picnik. I especially *HEART* it since Jason upgraded his account, and gifted me a free 3-month trial of the full version (which is a mere $24.95 a year, should I wish to upgrade). The full version lets you do lots of fun stuff, like apply effects, borders, and text like I did to the photos below.

Some of the effects even make bad photos look cool. Like the Kung Fu Awesome pic, which was blurry to begin with, now just looks wicked.

But even the freebie version lets you crop, rotate, adjust color andcontrast, and all the basic stuff you'd want to do with Photoshop. But for FREE. Check it out!

(And for those who are curious, the pics of me were taken on a whim as we were about to leave for the Metro DC PFLAG gala Saturday night. The "quizzical" one is a self-portrait.)
